As I’ve shared before, Vedic Jyotish is divided into three parts, and one of them is Siddhanta Jyotish.
Siddhanta Jyotish is not limited to individuals. It is also used to study events happening in the world, which is why it is sometimes called Mundane (Maidini) Astrology. In this branch, astrologers create multiple charts to make collective predictions that can be useful for society as a whole.
Every country has its own horoscope, just like a person does.
For example, India’s national horoscope is created based on 15 August 1947 at 12:00:01 AM, the moment India became independent. Using this chart, predictions about India can be studied. Similarly, the USA has a Leo rising horoscope.
In fact, whenever a country, organization, office, political party, or institution begins at a specific time, a horoscope can be created for it. Predictions are then made based on that chart.
