what helped me and my sister through our miscarriages is a story i actually heard during my first pregnancy. a woman had struggled with miscarriages and eventually had a baby boy. when he was 3 years old he told his mom he was so glad that he picked her and that he had tried to come two times before, but couldn’t stay. i miscarried in 2024 at a time when i was not making my own self care a priority. this is absolutely not to say thay your friend isn’t taking care of herself, but for me, i perceive that experience as my baby girl (whom i gave birth to in january, now 12 weeks old) attempting to come to me once before. it was a wake up call for me that she needed a healthy mom and i knew she would come when we were both ready.

I’m sorry to hear this. So many women go through this and it’s not often taped about. There are organizations who can help advise you as this is an incredibly painful thing for someone to go through. 🥲
