I would strongly encourage the use of ear plugs, sound machine or some physical method of screening out the loud voices as best you can.
Dealing with toxic family and constant criticism they have the audacity to call out why I don’t sleep when they do. First of all, one of them is still awake at 2am. Secondly, they constantly act as if they’re not aware of what they’re doing to me. I live for peace, not discords, so yeah, I’ll stay up late, just to not be “present” when they argue all the time. Simple as that. (+ my room has been sprayed cuz they even got mad at me for mentioning ceiling bugs that’s been crazy for weeks)
