Podcasts seem to help me quite a bit… ones that may resonate are
-hidden brain, NPR
-on Being, krista tippet
But, i say all this just to emphasize how much i believe becoming more informed about the way our bodies work can improve the types of external reactions/ distressing opinions or even sensations that can come with those naturally uncomfortable parts of evolultion. Don’t know if it helps, but with similar issues i have had listening to content that is informative and unbiased has been a Godsend. Even doing a google.scholar.org deep dive for peer reviewed research on these topics is a great way to distract the mind for an hour or so without feeding into what is already difficult.
Best wishes to all 🥹💖

I’m glad it helped, we can learn so much by sharing our experiences experiences ❤️peri menopause is a tough and scary transition. Thankfully there’s lots of information out there on it. It felt good understanding that I wasn’t going crazy and that my hormones were fluctuating wildly. One minute I’m laughing, the next I want to punch something 😂 knowing that it’s my hormones, has helped me to give myself the appropriate support I need both physical and emotional. I’m here if you want to chat about it ❤️
