Lessons from the ER The old blue chairs in the emergency room have seen all types of people. Rich and poor, old and young. They have seen all types of feet- feet that pace, feet that run, feet that tap impatiently, and feet that cross over one another as they settle in for a long night. They have seen all types of outfits- pajamas and dry-cleaned business suits, work uniforms and faded overalls.
