I know that I'm in heaven for Christmas Day, and for you that feels so far away, but on the day that we celebrate Jesus' birth, God gives his angels the gift of coming back down to earth. So that every angel, in the heavens above, can spend Christmas Day, with those that they love. So save me a space, just one empty chair, for although you can't see me, just know that I'm there.
All year we've counted- the sleeps, the days, the quiet "not yet" moments. We've watched the numbers fall away, waiting for this night. And now it's here. Christmas Eve-wrapped in soft lights, full hearts, and the kind of magic you can't rush. Tonight isn't about what's next. It's about now. The waiting, the hoping, the believing-all meeting right here together. Tomorrow will be wonderful. But this moment... this is the one we've been counting down to all year.🎄✨
It may SEEM as though Jesus came at the wrong time in the wrong place and brought into the world by the wrong people. King Herod was a threat. Bethlehem was under oppression. And Mary and Joseph were refugees. Safety sounds good but He needed turbulence. Comfortable sounds good but He needed closed doors at the inn and a bed in a manger. Wealth sounds good but He needed to arrive in humble circumstances. Easy sounds good but He needed a cross. This is what it means to celebrate Christmas. Trusting that whatever SEEMS to be wrong in our stories is being made right by the One who already lived through it.
CHRISTMAS EVE PRAYER ON THIS HOLY NIGHT, WE PAUSE IN STILLNESS AND GRATITUDE AS THE WORLD PREPARES FOR THE LIGHT OF CHRISTMAS MORNING. WE ASK FOR PEACE TO SETTLE INTO EVERY HEART AND EVERY HOME, REMEMBERING THAT MIRACLES OFTEN ARRIVE SOFTLY - THROUGH TRUST, SURRENDER, AND LOVE. WE HOLD IN PRAYER THOSE GATHERED IN JOY, THOSE MISSING SOMEONE DEAR, AND THOSE WALKING THROUGH UNCERTAINTY TONIGHT. LET NO ONE FEEL FORGOTTEN OR UNSEEN. MAY PROTECTION SURROUND EVERY DOORWAY, REST FIND THE WEARY, AND HOPE BE RENEWED WHERE FAITH FEELS FRAGILE. AS MARY WAITED IN TRUST, TEACH US TO WAIT WITH GRACE, TO BELIEVE BEFORE WE SEE, AND TO WELCOME THE LIGHT WHEN IT COMES. MAY PEACE DWELL WITH US NOW AND GENTLY CARRY US INTO TOMORROW!
Enjoy the holidays with those you love. Know that next year, life will be so different. The holidays won't always hurt. God will restore. But for today, enjoy today. Make the most of the holidays - knowing that God is still going to come through in the most remarkable way. Jesus is so good. Let today be a gentle reminder that hope is never lost.
Christmas Eve MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE THE WONDER TO LOOK UP AT THE SKIES ON CHRISTMAS EVE AND STILL BELIEVE IN THE MAGIC. IN PEACE, FORGIVENESS, AND WITH OPEN HEARTS, MAY KINDNESS, LOVE, AND NEW BEGINNINGS ABOUND. THIS SEASON DRAWS US TOGETHER, REMINDING US LIFE IS SHORT AND GIVING HOPE THAT THINGS CAN ALWAYS GET BETTER.
christmas eve Tonight feels like a pause after a long year. A lot has happened, even if it's hard to put into words. Small changes. Slow growth. This evening brings people closer. Sometimes to others, sometimes to themselves. Being in the same room. Familiar sounds. Soft light. Let this moment be enough. This is where you are meant to be. Let your soul catch up.
You need to remember this prayer in 2026. There's a simple prayer called the "I don't know" prayer. You just go to a quiet, secret place, come before God, and say: "I don't know. I don't know what to do next. I don't know how to handle this. I don't know how to deal with these emotions. I don't know how to handle this situation." It covers a lot of "I don't know" situations. Even if you only have a little faith left, you have to say: "But You know." And leave it there. God always hears such prayers; it brings peace. One day you'll cry. Not because someone hurt you, but because God answered your prayer. If you believe prayer is the most powerful weapon, please offer an AMEN! Disappoint the devil.
