My son is nearly 4 & he’s quite demanding about what he wants. I’m trying to teach him that sometimes he was to wait, but it’s a challenge. Should I always be meeting his wants whenever he wants? (This might include giving him a book that’s saved for him birthday, even though he has other new books around etc)

No keep teaching him he has to have patient and wait he will understand once he gets older. Giving in and giving him what he wants you will be raising someone who will demand more and more from you.

Thanks Iris, that’s what think too. In trying to stick to my ‘no’. It’s important for kids to learn boundaries
