PRAYER FOR TODAY Dear God in heaven, Thank You for this new day You've given me. Thank You for Your mercy that's fresh every morning, and for Jesus who died for me and rose again so I can come straight to You. Please forgive me for the ways I messed up yesterday and for anything I'll do wrong today. Wash me clean because of what Jesus did on the cross. Help me live today the way You want. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so I can be patient, kind, and loving even when it's hard. Give me wisdom for the decisions ahead, strength for the stuff that feels too big, and peace when my heart starts racing. Lord, please take care of my family and friends. Protect them, draw them closer to You, and meet every need they have. Comfort anyone who's hurting right now. Help me keep my eyes on Jesus today. When I'm tempted to worry or get angry or waste my time, remind me that You're with me and You're in control. Use even an ordinary day like this to bring glory to Your name. I ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
