Nutrient dense food, good company, family, love, balanced workouts, laughter, good quality sleep and enjoyment in the work we do, and hobbies that we love… as well as being of service to others!
Agree with Liam, balance is key. Life is for living. If we are too strict on ourselves, it can give us stress, if we are not disciplined just enough, we never achieve things and also develop stress…. I think it’s supposed to be a fun dance between the two!
Good point, staying active in a way you enjoy. Feeling your best in your 20s might mean going to exercise class, eating whatever you want, enjoying time with friends. In your 70s, 80s and 90s might mean your pedaling a wheelchair around, depending on medical transportation to try and attend events in the community. Or just being happy that someone gets you out of bed daily & you get to listen to audio books instead of reading yourself…
I believe it’s all about balance— nourishing your body with wholesome foods, staying active in a way you enjoy, prioritizing rest, managing stress, and surrounding yourself with positivity.
It’s not about perfection, but about creating habits that make you feel your best, inside and out! 🤗
