When You Feel Forgotten I want you to tell Me exactly how you feel, to be honest with your heart. But as you do, don't forget to praise Me for being faithful to My promises. Bring a promise of Mine to Me when you pray to Me. Remind Me that you know My Word and I will open your eyes so that you might behold My face in the darkness. Be confident in Me. Expect My mercy and loving-kindness and allow your heart to rejoice and be in high spirits. I know that sometimes it's difficult for you to truly express your feelings. I know you wrestle with releasing all your worries to Me. You especially struggle when you are angry at Me because you feel I've let you down. But when you release your heart to Me, opening it wide, I am able to heal your heart and bring comfort to you so that you can take one more step of faith. Wait on My deliverance and trust Me with your deepest, most intense feelings. Even though you may have times of doubt, declare that you will trust Me, be diligent in praising Me, and expect Me to help you. Oh Lord, how long will You forget me? PSALM 13:1 (NLT)
