Patience Time is precious Never to be wished away But it feels as though my life won't start Until I have you I am constantly in need Without a release I'm told to be patient But never wait But in these times of pause Is when my patience evades me My restlessness is an itch That only time can scratch To dream is not enough I long to chase To scream ever louder into the void To keep hitting the wall Until the moment comes when I'm finally heard And I've broken through I've never questioned "it" Only "when" So, when? Tomorrow? Next week? One year? 10? Patience Must be patient
