If heaven had a garden, where I could visit for the day, Id go and look for God, to ask if I could stay. I'm not sure how I'd get there, maybe I'd float upon a star, in hopes that it would take me, to exactly where you are. If we could find a bench to sit on, as we wander down memory lane, I'd tell you how since you left, life has never been the same. I'd tell you all my stories, and all I've been up to, but most of all I'd tell you how much I'm missing you. How my days have been a little duller, because like the sun, you shone, and how my world felt emptier as soon as you were gone. I'd tell you I was lucky, lucky that you were mine, and that I feel you all around me and see your halo shine. You'd show me heaven's beauty, as we'd wander down heaven's path, I'd soak up all your beauty, and savour your sweet laugh. If heaven had a garden, where I could pop by for a minute, I'd tell you my life was sweeter because I had you in it.
