On Abundance I love going over to people's houses who make too much food for dinner. The ones who do it not by mistake and not to be wasteful, but because they want to send everyone home with leftovers. It reminds me of God's abundant love for us-giving us permission to savor it in our current moment, remembering that there will still always be enough for tomorrow, too. It reminds me that we are meant to give things freely-our time, our patience, our compassion, our forgiveness. It reminds me that in a world with so much extra, there is never an acceptable explanation for why any should ever go without. Pt1
