Today I received yet again more difficult news. Instead of carrying on and pretending I was ok, like I usually do, I let myself cry. I let myself feel sadness, grief, fear and loss. It wasn’t easy to sit with these difficult emotions but I believe that letting ourselves feel difficult emotions instead of burying them or laughing them away, is part of healthy self care.
