Oh I cried reading this. I'm glad u opened your heart and shared this. I can only imagine how hopeless everything must feel rn; and it's alright. Lives are supposed to fade away at some point. Your friend just left early. I won't tell u "he's in a better place now" because I know u know it too. I just hope you to understand that there is so much more to him than his death and his last blues. I imagine that u'll feel better when u rather reminisce your times together. Your first meeting, the first time you sang together or played together, that one time something embarrassing happened and ur frnd just rolled with it. The death of a loved one can never erase their memories. Look at it through rose-colpured glasses. And when u can't sleep, imagine ur friend haunting you and threatening to give you nightmares if u don't stop feeling blue about their death. It's my first time helping someone deal with the loss of a loved one. Sorry if something I said offended you (I can assure you that the offense was very much not intended)

Hey my friend first of all let me say how sorry I am for the loss of such a beautiful human. When someone leaves you, someone’s so important it leaves behind a terrible wound. You keep pouring your heart out like you are seeking help when you need to , a psychologist or a social worker at school. They’re all there to listen. And I promise the wound will start to scab over and leave a scar. Right now it’s just still raw and bleeding even though it’s a year because that person meant so much to you. I promise it will get better. I promise everything will be OK. One day at a time with baby steps. Reach out when you need to.
