Growing up, I was led to believe that you either one was happy or sad, grateful or angry etc. Now I have learnt that two things can be true at the same time: one can be truly grateful but also sad, or happy but lonely etc. I’m learning now that it’s important to allow ourselves to feel our feelings & let them make their way out. Feelings can be guide posts and can teach us how to self care better 💗
