Hi Myung K.,
Sorry to have missed this! My apologies.
First, an explanation. Sleep Paralysis is the mind awakening from the REM state (dreaming) while the REM sleep paralysis of all the major muscle groups (except eye muscles and the diaphragm which allows us to continue breathing) has not dissipated yet. In a sense it is a partial awakening which can last a few seconds to minutes or even a bit longer. Each episode generally resolves on its own as the brain realigns the two states (REM sleep and the wake state).
Second, how to manage. Unfortunately there is no direct treatment or medication that completely resolves the condition. There are some antidepressants that suppress REM sleep but you may have to go through several to find one that works for you. There are potential cognitive-behavioral treatments that may help you work through the stresses in your life that may be underlying the mismatched states. REM sleep is when we work through our emotions and stresses of the day. Even just recognizing it is a mismatch of states that resolves on its own can have some benefit. Especially important is maintaining good sleep hygiene: consistent bed and wake times, meeting your sleep need regularly, and definitely not being sleep deprived will go a long way towards reducing the frequency of these events.
I can say more but let's see how this lands with you and give you time for trying some treatments or asking more questions.
I hope this helps somewhat.
