I don't know what you're waiting for, but I want to remind you to keep seeking God. While it can be disappointing to face trials, we don't have to be discouraged. Throughout Scripture, we see so many others face painful seasons, and in their hurt, God always had a plan. Hannah desperately longed to have a child. We see her pouring her heart out to God day after day. In the middle of wrestling with infertility, shame, and tension, Hannah continued to seek continually. Over time, something shifted in Hannah-not because she got what she wanted, but because she kept seeking God and bringing her pain to Him. Prayer may not always. change your circumstances right away, but it always changes you. God doesn't always give us what we want, but He does always give us what we need. Scripture says, in the course of time, Hannah gave birth. And not only did God give her a child, He gave her a prophet. God didn't just answer her prayer, but He fulfilled a greater purpose. Whatever you are wrestling with today, take it to God in prayer. He sees you. He cares for you. And He is always good.
