Yes Tyler, that’s how I figured out the inaccuracy. If I don’t activate the fitness icon, I don’t always meet my 30 minutes of exercise. I’m a fitness trainer and I’ve taught high intensity and low intensity classes (TaiChi & Qigong). I know I’ve completed the 30 minutes. The watch doesn’t track it too well without the activation . On the flip side I’ve turned it on and not really exercised and then completed. My apple watch is an older version gen 3 I think.
Anyway…don’t let the tracker set you back if you didn’t meet goals. Just keep trying and never give up.
