So many people are spiritually awakening right now because the world is forcing us inward. When external systems - political, economic, social - feel unstable or hollow, people naturally start questioning deeper truths: Who am I beyond my role? What actually matters? Is this all there is? We're also the most overstimulated generation in history. Constant noise, endless scrolling, nonstop productivity culture - and yet people feel emptier than ever. That emptiness is the invitation. It's the soul saying "look here." Add to that the collective trauma of recent years - pandemic, division, environmental anxiety - and you have millions of people simultaneously hitting a breaking point that cracks them open rather than closes them down. Then there's the information age working in spirituality's favor for once: ancient wisdom traditions, meditation practices, and philosophical teachings that were once gatekept by geography or class are now freely accessible to anyone with a phone. I think humanity goes through these cycles. Periods of extreme materialism eventually produce a hunger for meaning that can't be fed by more stuff, more status, or more distraction. We may be at one of those pivot points - not because it's a trend, but because people are genuinely suffering in ways that only depth can answer. The awakening isn't happening despite the chaos. It's happening because of it.🌿
