but i lied i also like to receive flowers i never have to ask for. i like to go on dates i don't have to plan. i like to experience being surprised on my birthday. i like to receive handwritten letters telling me how much they love me. i like to be photographed not because i handed them the camera, but because they wanted to. i like to see photos of us on your socials, to feel that you are proud to have me. i'm tired pretending i don't. because it's not really about the flowers or photos or dates. it's about knowing i am wanted, loved, and celebrated without having to beg for it. so yes, i lied. the truth is, i also like to be loved loudly.
