Answered prayers don't always mean getting the thing you're praying for. Sometimes answered prayers come in the form of not getting something you thought you wanted. They come in the form of redirecting you to a life you never imagined and closing doors on things not meant for you. They can force you to feel pain, heartache and anxiety, only to end up with more than you ever dreamt of at the other side of it all. Answered prayers sometimes mean thanking your lucky stars that you never ended up with what you once thought you wanted.
