"Lord, if it's not for me, please remove that desire from my heart." Sometimes we hold on tightly to things we want so badly, even when they slowly take our peace away. We pray for certain people, plans, or dreams because we believe they will make us happy. But God sees what we cannot see. He knows what will help us grow and what will only leave us hurt in the end. So when something is not meant for us, we have to trust Him enough to let go, even when it's painful. Not every closed door is punishment. Sometimes, it is protection. And when God removes a desire from your heart, trust that He is making room for something better.
