I have an Apple Watch-gen 2 or 3. I mostly use it as a stop watch. To look up steps. I don’t use it for tracking fitness, as it’s not accurate unless I activate the fitness buddy.
I do occasionally use the mindfulness breathing tool.
I’m a fitness trainer, I know how much I exercise, approximately half my exercise instruction is mind body.
I do feel these tools are good to get a healthy lifestyle habit started. Like weighing a body they can depress a person when goals aren’t met.
A great way to track is to weekly set goals, find a check-in group or buddy to help keep accountable.
