A hard truth: Thanking God for things we don't understand is hard. We have to thank Him for moments that hurt. For seasons that felt unfair. For experiences that, at the time, felt like they momentarily ruined our lives. But what we learn along the way is that He doesn't want to hurt us, or be unfair, or ruin us. We are being shaped in ways we didn't know we needed. We are being prepared for a future we may not have seen coming, but one that is so beautifully ours. The beauty is, some thank yous come later. And that's okay. Just don't forget to thank Him anyway.
