Dear LORD, As I stand at the start of a new week, 1 place the days ahead into Your hands. Not just today but the weeks that will follow, the ordinary ones, the demanding ones and the ones I cannot yet imagine. I don't want to rush through this month driven by pressure. I want to walk through it with You, step by step. If You go with me, that is enough. (Psalm 37:23) The steps of a good person are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in their way. Order my steps through every day of this week. Go ahead of me into decisions I have not made yet and paths I cannot yet see. Teach me to trust You with timing, with results and with the unfolding of my life. Guard my heart from anxiety and my mind from distraction. Cover my family, my friends and everyone connected to me. Let Your peace settle over the days ahead and Your wisdom lead us daily. I choose to live these days led by You, not driven by fear. Come and have Your way. I trust You with what's ahead.
