I’ve started this new practice: throughout the day, maybe every few hours or whenever I’m feeling “off”, I place my hand on my heart, take three deep breaths, and ask myself what I need. Then I listen carefully for my inner voice. Whether it’s food, sleep, movement, connection, or love, I give it to myself instead of numbing my emotions, dissociating, or chasing intensity. It’s been a life-changing paradigm shift in how I care for myself ☯️
