Grandparents Grandparents are so precious, our diamonds in the rough, "Have you got enough money? And are you warm enough?" Their home is our second home, each visit a real treat, and when it's time to say goodbye, they stand waving us off down the street. They give up so much time and expect nothing in return, telling us their stories, so much for us to learn. Generous and selfless, they would give up their last dime, and all they ever want from us is to spend a little of our time. Grandparents are so precious, and I'm not sure if we tell them enough, our angels sent for heaven, our diamonds in the rough.
