In picture: our last selfie together, at a family get together we organized to introduce & announce 2 of my cousins’ fiancés & my sister’s new born baby, 12 days before he passed away. He began to decline significantly after this party. We believe that seeing 3 out of 4 of his grandchildren achieve these major milestones, he may have felt like his purpose was now fulfilled. Me being the 4th grandchild. Non denominational- in his final moments, I told my grandpa as I was praying that whatever purpose or responsibilities are leftover for him, he should give them to me. I determined I will fulfil all his remaining wishes (which I didn’t know as he had stopped speaking since several days). I reassured him that we will take care of everything and he does not have to worry anymore. I sincerely pray to rise up to fulfil whatever wishes were leftover for him. They could just be my own life’s milestones 🌟💗
