The state of the world has been deeply humbling. You never truly know what tomorrow will bring. Life can change in an instant. The sense of safety we often assume is guaranteed, something we take for granted, can quickly slip into chaos. The people we speak to today may no longer be there tomorrow. The essentials we access so easily, with just a tap of a finger, can suddenly become unavailable. We do not know what lies ahead, and I sincerely hope it is nothing tragic. This is not meant to instil fear, but to acknowledge a truth - life can shift in a moment, and all that may remain are memories and unspoken regrets. So while life is still here, while some sense of normalcy remains, make the most of it. This current situation has taught me two most difficult lessons: that normalcy is precious, a luxury that many can no longer afford. Second, we are not owed anything. Everything we hold dear can be taken just as easily as it was given. So please, do not take this moment for granted. Live for today, but remain humble enough to recognise that life can take an unimaginable turn. And be prepared for that too.
