For a long time, I believed that love had to be loud in order to feel meaningful. I thought relationships required constant communication, nonstop reassurance, and emotional closeness every moment of the day. If someone became distant or needed time alone, I immediately assumed something was wrong. Looking back now, I realize I was loving from fear instead of emotional security. Everyone carries hidden stress, personal struggles, and moments where they need space to process life quietly. That silence does not always mean someone cares less. Sometimes it simply means they are emotionally overwhelmed. As I became more mature, I stopped expecting love to constantly prove itself every second. Instead, I started appreciating relationships built on patience, trust, understanding, and emotional safety. Because some of the deepest forms of love are the quiet ones the kind that remain genuine even during difficult seasons.
