We've All Lost Something In Our Lifetime We've all lost something in our lifetime. Some of us lost people we thought would be around forever. Some lost years trying to heal from things that were never their fault. Some lost confidence, trust, innocence, opportunities, dreams, or versions of themselves they can never get back. Loss does not always arrive in the form of death. Sometimes it arrives as a goodbye you weren't ready for, a door that never opened, or a life that turned out differently than you imagined. The truth is, every person you meet is grieving something. A relationship. A dream. A chapter. A piece of themselves. That is why life softens some people and hardens others. We are all carrying memories of things we wish had stayed and lessons we wish we never had to learn. Yet somehow, despite everything we've lost, we keep finding a way to continue. And perhaps there is something beautiful about that, the human ability to carry heartbreak and hope in the same heart at the same time.
