And that's exactly how they continue exploiting you, it becomes part of their pattern. It's almost like a game to them, one where you keep losing without realizing it. They don't want you confident, they want you unsure, just enough to keep proving yourself. So you keep giving for a little praise, a little approval, a little validation. But take a step back and think, do you really want anything to do with people whose thinking is so degraded and intentions only meant to hurt?
