One thing I made peace with in 2026 is that I don't always have to. I don't have to overextend myself for everyone. I don't have to constantly be the bigger person. I don't have to repair what I never damaged. I don't have to keep showing up for people who never show up for me. And I certainly don't have to trade my own peace just to keep others comfortable.
