Hi Liam, it definitely requires work, like all good things. For us, play helps; doing fun things together. Also, and this may sound simple, but responsiveness. It’s so attractive when your partner hears you and responds to your needs, and you them.

I’m in a long term relationship & the romantic feelings ebb and flow!… sometimes I’m so in love & at other times it feels more like friends, I believe this is normal. Still, we try to keep the spark alive by doing fun stuff together. Seeing each other facing new challenges reminds me why I love him and I get to learn something new about him too, whilst building memories together.
