I have social anxiety (diagnosed), so a majority of my life is online from school to work. However, lately when I’m out in my apartments community garden I’ve been able to wave, greet or smile to people walking by while I’m gardening. I’ve also had light conversation with the other person who uses the garden (there’s really on two of us). Making new friends is very difficult for me though, since it’s so hard to communicate. I find online communication easier since I can say exactly what I mean in words. But for both online and offline connection- I try to be honest and kind to all. That’s all I would ask for in return after all.
