Addressing something that's been bothering me doesn't mean I'm trying to argue. Sometimes people think I'm trying to start a fight when I finally speak about something that hurt me, but that's not what I'm doing. I'm not trying to blame anyone, prove a point, or make things harder than they already are. It just means something has been sitting heavy on my heart, and I need to let it out instead of keeping it all inside. Speaking up is already hard enough, especially when I'm scared of being misunderstood or told I'm overreacting. But I'm not asking for an argument. I'm just asking to be heard. Sometimes I only need space to be honest about how I feel without being shut down. At the end of the day, we all just want to feel like our feelings matter.
Others want to hear from you, so why not share your thoughts ☁️
