It feels bizarre having to explain grown-a** adults how inconsiderate and senseless they were in a situation. Like I'm hosting a workshop titled "Basic Human Awareness 101." How do you even begin to explain common sense to someone who skipped the installation? If you didn't feel anything was off while you were doing it, what exactly am I supposed to add now? It's strange trying to describe empathy to someone who treats it like an option. Some things shouldn't need explanation, they should come preloaded. Apparently not everyone is born with a basic set of instincts and emotions fully activated. Some people just "go with it," and yes, that works sometimes. But only if you're operating with an adult brain, not the emotional perspective of a toddler. Because if I have to explain why something was wrong, we're not in a disagreement, we're in two completely different stages of emotional development.
