It's not the task, it's the feeling that comes up when you're about to do it. Fear, boredom. Frustration, are the bulding blocks of this emotional wall stopping you from going forward. Since your mind dislikes pain, it invents thoughts to divert you from the task, feelings to defer you from action, and you remain stuck in your comfort zone. Safe but discontent. Secure but miserable. Rather than trying to circumvent, you must go through this war, notice the thoughts and feelings that come up, accept and diffuse from them, looking at them, not from them. Do what matters. By connecting with your values. Asking yourself, why is this important to me? And whilst it might be painful, on the other side of this wall, you'll find what you're looking for.
