I always wonder if our ancestors knew more about the stars than modern science does. Thoughts?

That’s such an interesting thought 🌌✨ I think in some ways they did… they lived so closely with the night sky, reading patterns and stories from it daily. Modern science explains the how, but i think that our ancestors carried a deeper wisdom about the meaning.

I’ve wondered that too. And Mia’s point too… they probably looked up more and studied the sky - less distractions. They probably looked down more too… like into the water or at the festival of life in/on the ground.

Absolutely…. They were about survival with little distractions that we have today: Tv, phones, advertising, 24/7 social media etc. I guess they must have been more connected to all the elements & to nature, the changing seasons etc etc. If only I had a Time Machine! 😀

That’s crossed my mind too. I believe that yes they did. They didn’t have as many distractions then or light pollution as we did, so staring up at & studying the stars must have been something they did often.
