I think the main rule of thumb is, if it is something truly unsafe for your child, like handling matches, then definitely is it a 'no'. Otherwise, you can let him explore. Remember, everything is new to him and trying all sort of stuff is the way of learning about cause and effect! Sending hugs 🤗
