So not giving you control makes me a bad person? Fine. I will happily be the worst person they ever sare. You might even be amazed at how far I'm willing to go to protect myself. It's never about refusing giving them control. It's about letting them know that the audacity with which they thought they were entitled to control me in the first place is ridiculous. How dare they think that they can control a person, their wishes, their dreams, their desires. And not just that but their feelings, their emotions and even how they should react. It's showing the world that control doesn't make someone strong. That mindset doesn't scream power, it whispers fear. It shows how weak, how scared, how insecure and how disgusting they are. Because control doesn't prove strength but a very fragile ego and the need for dominance to feel better.
