Sometimes I forget how rich I am, to my blessings I am blind, some days I forget to notice, the positives are hard to find. I take so much for granted, yet there's so much I have to treasure, sometimes I must remind myself of the way real riches are measured. The roof over my head, the shoes that shield my feet, a clean kitchen to cook in, a fridge with food to eat. A place where I can bathe, clothes to keep me warm, with others not so fortunate just because of the place that they were born. The sofa that I lay on, somewhere to rest my bones, with others not so lucky to have a place to call their home. Sometimes I forget how rich I am just by living free, but today I chose to notice, today I tried to see, that their are so many others on this earth that would trade their life with me.
