After that day, I never disturbed him again. I stopped sending messages, stopped checking his profile, and stopped finding reasons to reach out. Even when something reminded me of him, I stayed quiet. I didn't ask about him, and I stopped hoping for conversations that would probably never happen. It wasn't easy, but missing someone is not enough reason to interrupt their peace or lose my own. Sometimes, I still think about him and wonder if he remembers me too. But I no longer wait for him the way I used to. I learned that love doesn't always mean holding on forever. Sometimes, love also means letting go with dignity. Because if he truly wanted to come back, he would have already done it. And since he hasn't, I take that as my closure.
