Hope I suppose the world has, for a long time, been broken, in some sort of way, but I've never been more terrified for the children growing up in the world we see today. Corruption, War, barbaric leaders, a dark web online, a world fuelled by hate, a terrifying time. The heartbreaking things we see on the news, or logged on to Facebook. But then I glance around, and everywhere I look, I see families and friendship and genuine care, laughter and smiles and a little bit of love everywhere. Because even when the world is crumbling around us, we still find the most wholesome ways to cope, built around the people we love and admire, that give us a little hope. And although the world is, ultimately, terrifying to its core, most of us make the best out of the life we've got even when we're out here praying for more.
