Remember this Christmas that it's not the amount of gifts that lie underneath the Christmas tree, but the magical moments that you share, that will stand out in their memory. They won't look back when they're older and remember each gift they ever received, but they'll remember that excitement in their belly, on the night of Christmas Eve. They'll remember family traditions, watching films in front of the TV, a Christmas filled with love, surrounded by friends and family. They'll remember how they were allowed chocolate for breakfast, just that one day of the year, how they felt the warmth of your love, and all that Christmas cheer. They'll remember fresh pyjamas, and the rules for Christmas morning how they woke up at the crack of dawn with Mum and Dad still yawning They'll remember running down the stairs and jumping to the bottom, and if you ask them what they got last year, I bet they've already forgotten. But they'll remember pulling crackers, the smell of roasties and turkey meat, they'll remember the love around the Christmas table, as you all tuck in to eat. In years to come they won't remember the gifts of Christmases that have passed but they'll remember all the magic, memories that were made to last!
