respectfully, i don't go above and beyond for people anymore. i meet you where you meet me. i speak to you as much as you speak to me. and i include you as much as you include me. i'm done overextending myself for people who only give the bare minimum. i'm done being the one who always reaches first, cares more, and tries harder just to keep things alive. love should feel mutual, not one-sided. effort should be returned, not taken for granted. if i feel myself doing everything alone, ill step back without guilt. i still have love to give, but now it goes where it is matched. access to me now comes with equal energy.
