They say grief never leaves you, and now I know this to be true. On the day you left this earth, you took a piece of me with you. The thought gives me a little comfort; even though we're worlds apart, I know you will be clinging tightly to that little broken piece of my heart. I hope you keep it with you so that you're always close to me, our souls always connected, wherever you may be.
