Mostly depends on what you mean by a break. If both parties are comfortable with it and it seems to help you build a stronger connection because of the presence of personal space, it's a very good step

Thank you for your response 🙏I feel that we are in very different places in our lives and conversation and connection is hard. We’ve been friends for years and feel I need a little space till we can grow a little and hopefully have some things in common again.
