and i wonder what it's like to be someone's "always" not "maybe" not "almost" because i know what it feels like to be chosen halfway. to be loved only when it's convenient. to be someone they liked, but never enough to stay for. i know the feeling of waiting for consistency from people who were never sure about me. but i wonder what it's like to be someone's always? to be chosen loudly, softly, daily. to be the person they hold onto, not the person they let go of. i wonder what it feels like to finally be someone's sure thing. to finally be chosen.
